The firm was founded in Mexico City in 2010 and renders professional services of the highest quality and efficiency focused on the needs and objectives of its clients.

Our hallmark is the commitment to excellence and ethical standards of highly knowledgeable individuals with an extraordinary professional, academic, and teaching background, without the cost and time implications commonly found among law firms.

By virtue of the foregoing, we have achieved the professional acknowledgement from diplomatic missions of several European States, which have been some of our most distinguished clients.

Our areas of practice are, as follows:

  • real estate projects in which our recent experience ranges from (a) the advice to one of the largest hotel companies worldwide with more than 380 hotels in four continents in key matters of several hotels, including acquisitions, operation, and settlements, to (b) the participation in consecutive real estate projects for industrial, commercial, and residential purposes in the Bajío area of Mexico in excess of $700,000,000 S. dollars. We have also advised foreign individuals in the acquisition of coastal real estate subject to constitutional and legal restrictions. In these projects we participate either as special counsel or among teams of lawyers and tax consultants from the initial stage, e.g., the formation of complex cross-border structures of special purpose vehicles, to the completion of the project. Our close collaboration with trial lawyers has enabled us to continue participating in real estate projects after their completion to solve disputes between our clients and land owners or shareholders;

  • business transactions commonly referred to a transactional work that encompasses an array of agreements beyond mergers and acquisitions in several industries and economic activities. Our experience in these industries includes automotive, corporate wellness, food, information technology, media & entertainment, on-demand economy, pharmaceuticals, private security, pulp and paper, and telecommunications. Multinationals ranked within the ten largest companies in the world by revenue have been some of our clients in this area of practice;
  • financial transactions focused on entities different from banking institutions, including money transmitters, payment processors, and institutions of financial technology (FinTech) . We have advised some of these entities for years in their relationship with counterparts, federal authorities, and clients. Our advisory in this area has also covered bank-related matters, g., the acquisition of a package of shares issued by the Mexican affiliate of a bank founded in Europe in 1727;
  • energy in specific sectors that have come as a novelty, such as (a) the opening to private investment in the Mexican oil industry in December 2013, and (b) regulations on energy storage. Our advisory in the oil sector culminated in the award to one of our clients of a license agreement for hydrocarbon extraction in the third tender of Round In the renewable energy sector we participated in the largest hydroelectric project in the recent history of a South American country that will generate 2,400 MW. Other projects in clean energies have involved the endeavor of private investment in renewable power generation projects prior to 2013; and
  • economic competition, where our participation has evolved from (a) the initial legal advice to clients before the Federal Commission of Economic Competition (Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica) to (b) the legal advice to Commissioners themselves. Our expertise in economic competition law has led us to collaborate with trial lawyers in a leading case on damages for anticompetitive conduct before the highest judicial instance.
