In March and April, 2011 we participated in a work group among economists to advise the Mexican Federal Competition Commission (Comisión Federal de Competencia) in connection with the draft of the technical criteria on fines in competition law matters (proyecto de Criterios Técnicos para la Imposición de Multas en Materia de Competencia Económica).
The legal and economic assistance to said Commission was focused on revisions to economic criteria leading to their straightforwardness and the enforcement of the applicable provisions of the Federal Law of Economic Competition (Ley Federal de Competencia Económica).
